Juntos por la Salud


CREA Results is honored to be a participant in this project with the U.S. Mexico Border Health Commission.  This project has allowed CREA to create partnerships and access communities to provide healthcare access and referrals to local clinics and healthcare institutions for additional medical care and follow-up as needed to vulnerable Latino populations throughout the state of Colorado. CREA and their staff of Promotoras de Salud/Community Health Workers, provide its Health Mobile Unit at schools, businesses, churches, and events to provide health access services targeting key priority public health issues including but not limited to: nutrition, oral health, obesity, diabetes, reproductive health, child health, mental health, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, domestic violence, and access to health services. Health screenings are provided on a variety of health concerns such as Cholesterol, Diabetes, Body Mass Index, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, as well as provide health related resources on other issues such as asthma, cardiovascular, and physical activity.
